Welcome
Easy Backpacking
For the love of sanity.
For the love of sanity.
Welcome to my personal blog where I share my backpacking stories. I am no expert, nor do I have an endless trail log to prove my worth. However, being so gloriously new to all this, I am sharing my learnings as I go: mistakes, discoveries, encounters, thoughts, and equipment I use.
I prefer backpacking in 30–60°F weather when nature is quieter. I am in no rush to get anywhere or to prove anything. I savor the experience as I enjoy my morning coffee.
If my blog helps, great. If not, it's a personal blog, not required reading.

Nature strips away everything unnecessary, reminding me of what truly matters during my backpacking experiences. The smell of trees, the bite of cold air against my face, and the primal comfort of warmth against the cold bring a deep sense of nature appreciation.
That first cup of coffee at dawn isn't just a ritual; it is a moment of raw gratitude. With steam rising and my hands wrapped around my cup, I watch the light break over distant peaks. This is happiness distilled to its essence, a perfect reflection for my personal blog.
Carrying my shelter on my back teaches a fundamental truth: we need so little to be content. Nature's beauty, inseparable from its harshness, humbles me, resets me, and returns me to what's real.
